Lakewood Civic Center

The master plan involved 20 acres, including an aging City Hall and Sheriff's station. Anchoring the site, a new entrepreneurial community center combined resources for both public and private sectors, and generated hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue.

Covering a 2,000-foot flood control channel allowed ease of access for public and emergency vehicles. Longer term parking was distributed to the rear of the facility, helping redefine the dominant streetscape image.
